What If: Is the Key To Unravelling The Mysteries of Autism Within Biofields?
As I have stated many times, I am neither a medical professional nor a mental health expert, nor do I have any children with autism. As I talked about in my last article, I am merely someone who both likes to think outside the box about possibilities and who likes to observe patterns. I have coached and befriended many of those who are diagnosed with autism, and it has me wondering if we are looking at it all wrong. And this opinion piece is merely filled with my musings. I have purposely not listened to the telepathy tapes, nor have I researched autism beyond making ChatGPT research the top five indicators of autism for this article; they will form the foundation of this article.
I am of the strong opinion that autism is highly misunderstood. Given both my personal experience with high sensitivity, and some light energetics and biofield research, I have formulated some theories. But before I share those theories embedded in the top five indicators, I want to share the quick ChatGPT definition and analogy for understanding biofields.
“Biofields are invisible energy fields that surround and flow through living things—like people, animals, and even plants. Think of them like the body’s natural ‘energy bubble’ that helps keep everything in balance.”
“A Simple Analogy: Imagine your body is like a smartphone. Your biofield is the invisible signal around it—like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. You can’t see the signal, but it’s essential for communication and function. If the signal gets weak or disrupted, the phone doesn’t work well. Same with your body: when your biofield is out of balance, you might feel tired, stressed, or even get sick.”
With that out of the way, let me now address my working theory and observations. I believe that many external manifestations of autism show up as a reflection and response based on incredibly high sensitivity to energies. In order to explain what I mean by that, I will share my own analogies. The more that I personally work on my own energy—and by circumstance, the higher that my frequency vibrates—the more sensitive I am to others’ energies. Think of it, if you will, as being like your own personal radio tower, where the higher you vibrate, the more energy that you pick up on, like tuning into multiple radio dials. The more sensitive that I have become, the higher the likelihood of others engaging with me—being in my proverbial vicinity or even hugging me—creating a feeling that is akin to feeling physically assaulted by their pokey energy. While I know that sounds dramatic, if you take the ChatGPT definition and think of the energy bubble physically surrounding you (your energy), and then someone has shitty energy (think about them having an energy bubble with spikes)—when your energy bubbles overlap, those with sensitive energy feel assaulted. Those with highly sensitive biofields feel it just like a slap; it is an extension of the body in energy form.
Now back to addressing the top 5 indicators of autism according to ChatGPT through this lens:
Sensory Sensitivities: “Atypical responses to sensory stimuli.” That can manifest in someone with autism as atypical reactions to sounds, lights, textures, and smells. Any of those aforementioned stimuli is all energy. As an example, if you are highly sensitive to energy, a fluorescent light could be akin to having a high-intensity stadium spotlight shone right into your face. That would overwhelm anyone.
Restricted & Repetitive Behaviors: “A hallmark of autism is the presence of restricted and repetitive behaviors which may include rocking, hand-flapping, intense focus on specific interests, or becoming distressed when routines are disrupted.” If you study how the body regenerates, when you look through the lens of energetics, this is all highly understandable. In order to stop energy “roller coasters,” the somatic response is to ground your energy. While there are many ways to ground your energy, focusing on things that you are interested in, rocking, or even repeating physical patterns help to ground. Think about breathing, for instance; if you have anxiety, the physical act of repeating breathing in and breathing out multiple times calms you. Same concept.
Difficulty with Change & Flexibility: “Individuals often prefer predictability and may struggle with changes in routines, environments, or resistance to new situations or activities.” If every time something changed in your world and you couldn’t really understand and/or articulate that you felt like you were being physically assaulted, wouldn’t you be resistant to change? Would you be flexible? You would probably be pretty resistant.
Delayed or Atypical Language Development: “Language development may be delayed or differ from typical patterns, including the use of gestures or facial patterns.” This one strikes me as a pretty funny one, as I would argue that you just aren’t speaking the right language. Here is what I mean by that. Someone who is highly sensitive gets their understanding and knowing from feeling, not articulating. They actually understand what you are trying to get across from your energy, not what comes out of your mouth. In fact, many times gestures or facial patterns are masks that people are wearing versus the ultimate truth—energy doesn’t lie. So “atypical language development” depends on your definition of typical from my perspective. And when people use language, gestures, or social cues in social contexts that differ from what their energy is giving off, OF COURSE someone with highly sensitive energy is confused—it is a complete dichotomy.
Difficulty in Social Interactions & Communications: “Individuals often experience difficulties in social interactions and communications, manifesting as limited eye contact, challenges in understanding, and limited interest in sharing emotions.” I purposely saved the best one for last. Here is my question for you—and be radically honest with yourself—if you had to interact and communicate on a daily basis with hundreds of humans running around you that you knew were lying, would you have any interest in interacting and communicating? You would do everything in your power to avoid any eye contact and run the other way. Sounds dramatic, I know, but really think about it. If you are highly sensitive, that is exactly what it feels like. You are READING the energy that someone else is bringing and know exactly how they feel. It doesn’t matter what is coming out of their mouth, how they are moving their body, or even how they are engaging—energy doesn’t lie. I would argue, if you are having difficulty in social interactions and communications with someone who is autistic, they are merely holding up a mirror to you to clean up your energy. They don’t need to adapt to your normal to make up for your shitty energy—fix it.
What would the world look like if we filtered the world through the lens of someone who is highly sensitive, and instead of adjusting their “behaviors,” cleaned our own shitty energy up? When you operate from a place of authenticity and unconditional love, that is your highest vibration—and I would purport—that you would be speaking the language of someone who is autistic. It is just a theory of course- I will leave it to those experts who are way smarter than me about autism to figure it out.
